UK Emergency Vehicles is designed and produced by Richard Thompson. This website was first uploaded in February 1999. It was inspired by the book "Emergency Service Vehicles of the UK" by Clive Sturman (published by Ian Allan Ltd in 1980, ISBN 0711010013) and James "Jimbo" Farley with his Kent Police vehicles website.
