Why should I donate?

This website costs money to run. Every time a page or photo is viewed, it uses bandwidth on the server. The more people view the site, the more bandwidth is used - at a cost to us. We also have to pay registration fees, and of course costs associated with traveling to events and photographing vehicles for your enjoyment. We want to keep this site free for everyone to browse, and all we ask is that if you consider donating £1 to keep this website up and running.

Is the transaction secure?
Yes! PayPal is fast, free and secure. They have millions of users and carry out masses of transactions every day. Most items for sale on Ebay can be paid for through PayPal. Everything is done via a secure encrypted connection to protect your details. It's very easy to register if you're not already a user, just click this link: www.paypal.com

What can you get for £1?
£1 is not a great deal of money to most people. You could buy:

  • Just over one litre of petrol
  • One lottery ticket (with a one-in-fourteen million chance of winning)
  • Three bars of chocolate
  • One bus journey
  • Half a pint of beer
  • About one-quarter of a monthly magazine
  • Or you could help this website to keep up and running

Aren't you diverting money away from emergency service charities?
Yes and no. You could donate your £1 to them, but how would you find out about the small independent charities that do great work around the UK? This website helps to raise their profile by featuring the vehicles and names of such organisations, so they may well end up receiving more donations and interest.

Can I easily cancel my monthly subscription?
You can cancel your donations at any time. Just click this link:
