DG03 CVW This Volvo V70 does not actually belong to the Mersey Regional Ambulance Service, although it does respond for them. It is owned and run by The Wirral Hyperbaric Unit and carries a doctor, nurse or first responder and occasionally paramedics to urgent ‘category A’ calls on Merseyside, including trauma, cardiac arrests and entrapments. Notice the green and blue flashing lights, with red to the rear too.

GY53 ENO is a Toyota Avensis estate in ambulance livery. Notice how it is fitted with an ultra slim light bar on the roof rails as well as a small additional unit below the front grill.



The rear view. Notice the extra high visibility markings and light bar strips on the open boot. This is to aid with the visibility of the car at an incident when it is parked with the boot open.

This is a Honda TRX 450 quad bike…



This is a Honda TRX 450 quad bike intended to be used by paramedics in rough or inhospitable terrain. From this shot you can see the front mounted blue lights and the sump guard to protect the drive components.



The rear shots show the additional rear blue lights. Equipment can be mounted on either the front or rear racks.

RO04 EWA is a Honda ST 1300 Pan-European…



RO04 EWA is a Honda ST 1300 Pan-European motorbike. It is fitted with two dot matrix displays mounted on to the rear of the bike. The rider can control the message displayed by the sign by using a controller mounted on to the handlebars. Note the additional signs are on a free standing unit behind the bike.

OU03 FPC is a St. John Cambridgshire Nissan Patrol. Notice the height of the roof and the floodlight perched on the top.



The rear view of the same car shows the rear doors and cubbyholes open for access to equipment. Also note how the lights are recessed into the bodywork.
