used at Stanstead Airport. They carry amber beacons on the roof as well as
large numbers on the sides to identify them. The front car is a Volvo V70
and behind it is a Mitsubishi Shogun. |

police at Manchester Airport. Notice that it does not have blue lights -
just the airside amber beacon.

833C is a black police Mini that was new in 1965. It
also has the amber light but does not carry any 'police' signs. |

TNE This Land Rover Defender is used
by Merseyside Police at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The most
interesting thing about this vehicle is the twin coloured light bar. The
blue light is used to indicate its police status and the amber light is a
requirement for all vehicles that drive on the apron. |
