EU56 JUE is a Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 MoD police car in full battenburg markings. Notice that it does not have any obvious crests on the car, just the 'police' wording.
The rear shot of the Nissan Patrol. Here you can see the very small force crests that have been placed on the rearmost side windows.
EO52 MDX is a Citroen Relay that is used by the MDP as a display unit. You can see that it has a large awning and disabled-friendly access. It is fitted out with blue lights around the edge of the roofline. The writing on the sides reads 'Working to make the Defence Estate a Safer Place'.
N858 GBK is a MOD Police Tactica. It is a 7.5 ton, 6 cylinder, turbo charged, armoured vehicle. This type of vehicle is used at sites where atomic weapons are kept, however they have no offensive capability and are not fitted with weapons. Inset: the rear view of a similar Tactica.
YJ53 ENE This silver Nissan Terrano is fitted with three roof-rack mounted blue lights, as well as a telescopic white floodlight. There are also blue repeater lights in the front grille and it is decked out in blue and yellow battenburg markings.
The rear shot shows a very unusual feature: two different police force crests. This Terrano is operated by both North Yorkshire Police and the Ministry of Defence Police. Two important military installments are based in North Yorkshire (Menwith Hill and Fylingdales) so close collaboration between the forces is needed. Notice also that the spare tyre has been removed.
EO02 JUE This is a MoD police Mitsubishi Shogun 4x4.
The rear view.
EU53 ZJK This truck is a Mercedes with a beaver tail lift on the rear.
EU03 FHK In front of the large Mercedes truck is a Sprinter with riot grille. Notice the lack of a roof-mounted light bar. Individual blue lights around the periphery of the roof give emergency warning instead. Also notice the heavily tinted glass on the sides.
Inside the rear of the Mercedes are a number of seats and stowage compartments.
This is 03-reg Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is used by the MoD Police as an Operational Support Unit (OSU), based at RAF Dishforth .

EU03 FGV This is a wrap-around photo of a battenburg-marked MoD police van. It is a Mercedes Sprinter run by the Special Escort Group.
EO03 FHT This is a MoD police quad bike very much at home on muddy forest tracks.
A look at the front / side of the red quad. Notice the two small MoD police crests of the front. It is obviously not used for high-visibility policing.
The rear / side view of the all terrain vehicle. A further small crest is shown on the back.
Y212 GWC This Land Rover Defender is part of the fleet of Defence Police vehicles at RAF Fylingdales (early warning base, North Yorkshire). It is sparsely liveried, with only a single red stripe down the sides and two blue flashing lights.
The rear view of the same Land Rover.
W134 BJN This Ford Ranger Pick-up truck is also based at RAF Fylingdales.
A line up of five of the police vehicles that are based at Fylingdales, consisting of a Land Rover Defender, a Ford Transit and three Nissan Terranos.
EO52 FXD This 2002 version Nissan pick up is based at  Imphal Barracks, York, and belongs to the North East  Divisional Firearms Team.
EO52 FXJ This is a 2002 Ministry of Defence Police Subaru Forester. It is almost identical to the 1999 version at the base of this page.
EU04 MXL is a MoD Ford Transit in refreshingly minimalist livery for 2004.
The rear view of the Transit out and about of the public roads.
EO51 WEJ is a Ministry of Defence Police Nissan Terrano from RAF Fylingdales.
