picturesque but treacherous snowy conditions. During the heavy snow
fall of January 2010, West Yorkshire police drafted in a fleet of Land
Rovers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland to assist with reaching
more remote locations. |

Metropolitan Police in London for non-emergency work, including equipment
transportation. It is fitted with amber flashing lights all-round and
carries the Met's standard stripe and a small sign in the windscreen to
indicate its owners. |

PX59 BFN This is one of Cumbria Police's Subaru Imprezas. New in the summer of 2009, it is the WRX STI model which is equally at home on Cumbria's motorways or winding rural roads. The four-wheel drive car is fitted with full emergency warning equipment, including a full-width Premier Hazard light bar and LEDs behind the grille. |

This North Yorkshire Ford Transit is showing a demonstration livery of yellow, blue and white battenburg! In fact a number of the yellow panels have fallen off, either due to not being correctly applied when new or by being power-washed too hard. |

YJ59 KZY This is a Ford Transit Connect that is used as a multi-purpose patrol vehicle by North Yorkshire. It is one of a number of vehicles with sequential registration plates that were introduced in autumn 2009 as replacements for Peugeot Experts and Citroen
