  The Royal Air Force Police protect military personnel, assets and information. They also prevent and detect crime, support discipline and provide a security advice.
This is a Royal Air Force Police Land Rover 'Snatch Wagon'. The vehicle is carrying desert camouflage colours with a blue light on the roof. Union Jack and RAF Police signs can also be seen. This picture was taken in Basra, Iraq in 2008.

97 KE 52 This RAF Police Land Rover was in service during the 1990s. Notice the very simple livery and only one blue flashing light, mounted on a pole because of the canvas roof.
BU53 KWX This is one of a fleet of identical Vauxhall Astra estates that are used by the Royal Air Force police. They have amber flashing lights included in the roof light bar for use on airfields.

Here we have a Ford Transit used by the RAF Police for the transport of dogs. The vehicle is unregistered and is not equipped with any blue lights. Notice how the space remains on the drivers door for the addition of the RAF insignia.
30 AY 04 This is a RAF Police Landrover Defender 110 Hardtop, FFR (Fitted For Radio). It is in service with the Tactical Provost Wing of the RAF Police, based at RAF Henlow in Bedfordshire.
18 KA 17 This RAF Police Landrover Series 3 is a 109" long wheelbase hard top example from the early 1980s. Notice the distinctive red 'police' sign on the grille.
00 AF 48 This is a black RAF Police Ford Escort 1300L estate patrol car. Again from the early 1980s, it was based at RAF Odiham.
ND 49 AA This RAF Police Landrover Discovery is from the late 1990s and features a forward-facing floodlight on the roof.
