It has a 3-litre engine and a 4 speed gearbox. It was built by Lomas and entered service at Hinkley in 1983. It was retired in 1990 and went into preservation in 2002.

FH07 OES Leicestershire FRS use this silver Ford Transit Connect as an Urban Search and Rescue Dog Unit. The Leicestershire International SAR Team has two dogs and two dog handlers that are used in the UK and overseas.
The rear view. The van is air conditioned for the dogs’ comfort. The unit has seen service at building collapses, major transport incidents, explosions, construction accidents, and natural disasters.
FJ59 MYS Leicestershire Police operate this Toyota Hilux 3.0 litre D4D. It is a 4×4 car with a double cab and open rear with torneo cover. A winch is fitted to the front.

FJ10 XYS Lincolnshire Police took on this John Deere 6630 tractor in 2010 for publicity purposes in rural areas. It carries the standard livery and has blue light on the roof.

FJ05 EPP This Iveco Daily is operated by the Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation. The organisation provides underground rescue support to police forces in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire.

FJ08 LBA This is a Skoda Octavia that is in service with Leicestershire Police. Notice the blue lights at four different heights when viewed from the front (roof, dashboard, grille, bumper) and the orange stripes running down the edge of the bonnet.
FJ08 MPY Here is a Ford Focus estate owned by Leicestershire Police. It carries the traditional stripe livery, which is similar to that used on Metropolitan Police vehicles.
FL08 LBA This is a Skoda Octavia vRS which is decked out in Leicestershire Police’s colours. The photograph shows that it is fitted with blue lights on the roof, dashboard and next to the front fog lights.

FH04 LNU is a specially extended Citroen Dispatch used by Leicestershire Constabulary. It is intended to be used as a mobile silver command. This command unit will co-ordinate situations where there is a large Police presence such as public order or sporting events.
From this view you can see the entrance into the control section of the vehicle. You can also see the awning which can extend out of the side of the van.
