PA 30 AA A Royal Military Police Ford Mondeo. Notice the military registration and the red berets of the officers. Military police vehicles usually carry the same colour livery as the police county they are based in.
The rear view. Notice that they have opted for the rarer saloon version of the Mondeo. This mark ran from 1996 to 2000. It has an ‘aspen’ trim level (the lowest) and a 1.8 turbo diesel engine.
The overhead view. The ‘RMP’ marking is to let a helicopter know this is a Royal Military Police vehicle.

Liverpool was the first city to introduce markets police in 1860. The force operated at the Edge Lane market where they provided security, bye-law enforcement and traffic management services. The service was disbanded in 2005 by Liverpool City Council.

LX53 LCN A police outrider talks to a colleague on foot at the entrance to Downing Street, London. The motorbike is a silver BMW R1150 RT-P is in service with the Metropolitan Police.
The side view of this silver motorbike. Notice something very rare about the rider: he has a gun attached to his belt.

EU58 LLN This is a MDP Ford Mondeo. Decked out is full battenburg markings and yellow stripes down the bonnet, this car also has a range of blue flashing lights on the grille, wings and roof. This particular car was seen on television many times during 2009 as it escorted military funeral processions of soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq through Wootton Bassett.

YJ53 ENE This silver Nissan Terrano is fitted with three roof-rack mounted blue lights, as well as a telescopic white floodlight. There are also blue repeater lights in the front grille and it is decked out in blue and yellow battenburg markings.
The rear shot shows a very unusual feature: two different police force crests. This Terrano is operated by both North Yorkshire Police and the Ministry of Defence Police. Two important military installments are based in North Yorkshire (Menwith Hill and Fylingdales) so close collaboration between the forces is needed. Notice also that the spare tyre has been removed.
