This is the lead vehicle in a blue light escort of a blue Royal Mint truck. As the City of London Police BMW 530 stops traffic at a junction, the two CoLP BMW X5s stay close to the front and rear of the van. This helps stop any vehicle getting close to the van accidentally or on purpose. LM57 JVP A couple of seconds later the main convoy passes through the junction at speed. The second BMW X5 can just be seen behind the blue truck. The police vary the times, days and routes of this regular escort to help prevent an ambush. |
