Here is a GMP Land Rover Discovery that is part of the Manchester Airport fleet. A separate amber beacon is mounted towards the rear of the roof. The small red squares on the bodywork indicate that this vehicle has been armoured to provide the occupants a high level of protection against explosions or other physical attack.

Heathrow Airport is patrolled by this Met Police Mitsubishi Shogun. It looks very similar to central London versions, but with the difference being the amber flashing light on the roof and the fleet number BJH.

This Land Rover Defender is used by Merseyside Police at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The most interesting thing about this vehicle is the twin coloured light bar. The blue light is used to indicate its police status and the amber light is a requirement for all vehicles that drive on the apron. The rear view of the Land Rover.
