FJ11 BVV This is a Ford Transit van that is part of Derbyshire Constabulary’s fleet.

This is a Pangolin ALR Mk.IV that is used by the PSNI in Northern Ireland. The vehicle is heavily armoured and all lighting has grillwork to protect it. It was introduce to the fleet in 2011 to begin to replace the aging Tangi Land Rovers.



The rear view of the Pangolin. This fleet of vehicles is based on the Land Rover 110 and are converted by England-based Pangolin. They have a Puma engine and a six-speed drivetrain.

The States of Jersey Police received this VW Caddy new in Autumn 2011. It has a clear light bar and clear LEDs on the wings and grille that flash blue when activated.

In this action scene, an officer from Birmingham Market Police takes a suspect to the ground while trying to detain them.

The Birmingham Market Police was officially ended in 1976 when the employees ceased to be constables. However the name lives on today as the service continued, although the employees are not recognised as police officers.



A look at the uniform of the Birmingham Market Police from the rear as an officer surveys the empty market at the end of the day. The service does operate a small unmarked van but is primarily focussed on foot patrols.

Here are four police outriders riding BMW R1150RS motorbikes. They are all party of the Special Escort Group (SEG) whose primary role is to escort vehicles in the London area. The bikes are minimally marked and they rarely use sirens.
